Brooklyn Recap!

Today’s favorite adventure for the month of March comes to you from Brooklyn! We made a bunch of trips to NYC (and two of these picture are from there because we went there on this day too) but we didn’t often make it to the Brooklyn side. It’s so fun and a bit different than NYC. It was nice to break it up since we usually hit the same stops in NY. Something I wish I knew about Brooklyn is that DRIVING THERE TAKES FOEVER! Haha. It definitely makes more sense to walk the bridge or take a bus or the subway or a train or a taxi or ANYTHING but drive. We drove to NYC plenty of times and never ran in to much traffic. Brooklyn was insane… it took us about 2 hours just to get from our exit off the freeway to the city (making a 3 1/2 hour drive almost 6 hours). We didn’t even do much there, just walked along the water and under the bridge, ate a snack, and let Maddux run around! We also met up with my family in NYC which made it all the better.

I love this city and want to go back every year the rest of my life! It was one of the saddest things about moving away from Massachusetts, knowing I can no longer go to NYC whenever I want. Truly a city for dreamers!
